Solargraphy.
Solargraphy is a photographic technique meant to show the path taken day after day by the sun across the sky.
We use several pinhole cameras, made mostly out of beverage cans, loaded with black and white photographic paper. Slowly the sun rays passing through the pinhole directly impress the photographic paper which is exposed for an extremely long amount of time (from weeks to half a year), leaving the marks of the sun path. It is a completely analog process, that doesn't require any developing. Explore our photostream on flickr for more pictures and information: https://www.flickr.com/photos/timescan_solargraphy |
